The Thirsty Crow

One hot day, a thirsty crow was flying around, looking for water. He searched for a long time but couldn’t find any. Tired and weak, he was about to give up when he saw a water jug under a tree.

The crow flew down and looked inside. There was a little water at the bottom of the jug!

He tried to put his beak inside, but the neck of the jug was too narrow. He tried to tip the jug over, but it was too heavy.

Then the crow had an idea. He saw some small stones lying nearby. He picked up the stones one by one and dropped them into the jug. As he did this, the water slowly rose higher and higher. Soon, it reached the top.

The clever crow drank the water and flew away happily.

Moral: Use your brain and don’t give up—there’s always a way!
