Learning from Mistakes

Thomas Edison tested over two thousand materials while trying to find the right one for the light bulb. After many failed attempts, his as

sistant said, “All our work has been for nothing. We haven’t learned anything.”

But Edison replied calmly, “Not at all. We’ve learned a lot. Now we know two thousand things that won’t work!”

Moral: Mistakes aren't failures—they're steps toward success.
