The Thirsty Crow

One hot day, a crow was flying across the fields. She was very thirsty and looking everywhere for water. But no matter where she looked, she couldn’t find any. She was tired and almost ready to give up.

Just then, she saw a jug under a tree. She flew down to check if there was any water inside. Yes! There was a little water at the bottom.

The crow tried to reach it, but the neck of the jug was too narrow. She couldn't get her beak in. She also tried to tip the jug over, but it was too heavy.

The crow sat and thought for a moment. Then she noticed some small pebbles nearby. She picked them up one by one and dropped them into the jug. Slowly, the water level rose. After a while, it was high enough for her to drink.

The crow happily drank the water and flew away, feeling much better.

Moral: If you keep trying and think smart, you can solve your problems.
