The Honest Boy

Ravi was a young boy who lived in a small village. One day, he was walking home from school when he saw a wallet on the road. He picked it up and looked inside. It had a lot of money and an ID card.

Ravi could have kept the wallet, but he knew it was not his. He wanted to do the right thing.

He went to the village office and gave the wallet to the officer. “I found this on the road,” Ravi said. The officer looked at the wallet and smiled.

“Thank you, Ravi. This belongs to Mr. Sharma,” said the officer. He called Mr. Sharma to come and take his wallet.

Mr. Sharma was very happy. He thanked Ravi and said, “You are a good boy. I am proud of your honesty.”

Ravi smiled. He felt happy too. He knew that being honest was the right thing to do.
